Manager, Supply Chain
Tiffany and Company is looking to fill the Supply Chain Manager position for the service center located in Jackson Heights, New York. As the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for coaching and developing a small team of analysts, as well as identify the materials and parts capacity required to satisfy all relevant orders for the service center and other locations. You will also ensure that all orders are handled with care and processed within the established standards and time frames. In addition, you will be responsible for completing project work to meet short and long term division initiatives. In this role, you will maintain the established standards for inventory availability, vendor performance, and productivity, in addition to identifying opportunities to enhance and/or improve current standards and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, creating, reviewing and analyzing various reports to monitor vendor performance and time frame standards, as well as developing various plans. In this position, you will also ensure that the integrity and accuracy of the inventory systems and records are maintained, by reviewing and approving all orders for various parts and materials. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will also ensure that all departmental staff members consistently follow policies, procedures, and processes, and provide the department staff with frequent feedback regarding job performance using the Performance Management Process. You will conduct frequent staff meetings to disseminate new procedures and review existing procedures, as well as create and implement training procedures for all positions. As a Manager, you will also create and manage the department's profit plan by frequently reviewing and analyzing the department's business and using various financial resources and reports. As a Tiffany and Company employee, you will also comply with all Tiffany policies and procedures, as well as departmental processes and best practices, including but not limited to, Internal Audit, Human Resources and Occupational Safety. The most qualified candidate for this position must have an Undergraduate degree with at least three years of direct management experience and a minimum of two years of inventory related experience. You must also be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel,Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills is also required. Proficiency with inventory systems and accounting knowledge is a plus. At least three years of management experience in an operational position is also a plus, as well as a Graduate Gemologist degree.
