Manager of Windows Infrastructure

Cochran, Cochran and Yale is Western New York's largest professional and executive search firm. We are presently recruiting for a Manager of Windows Infrastructure for our prestigious Rochester based client.  This position will be responsible for managing the administration and support activities for the enterprise’s distributed Windows systems that include Microsoft Windows Servers, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Sharepoint, Citrix, IIS, plus support hundreds of additional business applications.  This environment consists of over 650 Windows based servers located in data centers in Rochester, NY, Augusta, ME and various division and general office locations in NY, ME, and CT.  Directly responsible for 11 employees mostly located in Rochester, NY.  The leadership of this team is expected beyond just the technical management, but includes employee development, mentoring and training.

 

Qualifications include Bachelors Degree preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or Business.  Minimum of 7 to 10 years experience of team lead, manager or project manager or other relevant experience -  IT experience is preferred.  Minimum of 5 years experience working as a systems engineer in Microsoft Server environments or managing these types of environments.  Demonstrated satisfactory performance management ratings/reviews.  Must be able to work in Rochester, NY.
