NPB Marketing Associate works with the marketing team to help ensure that a high quality and effective marketing, research and promotion program is constantly delivered by managing projects through completion and supporting the management of key marketing functions and budgets.

 

 

Position Requires:

  A team player with 3 to 7 years of marketing and promotion experience with a B.S. or B.A. in pertinent area A person with the motivation and skills to work with a wide range of programs and project tasks. Capability to handle diverse projects simultaneously and the ability to meet deadlines with thoughtful, on target deliverables that are on time and within budget Excellent presentation and writing skills are required. Must possess presentation skills that can be called upon to communicate key concepts, as well as a broad range of data and information for sales and marketing presentations, as well as other business situations that call for clear, concise expression of stated goals, strategic objectives and program benefits The ability to support other internal and virtual team members in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and administrative skills. A thorough understanding of power point, Microsoft office suite, and data base software.

 

Job Description:

  Reports to the Marketing Team Leader and works with the marketing team in the development and implementation of programs that deliver against the strategic goals of the National Peanut Board Works directly with Marketing Team Leader and team members in the development of marketing and promotion plans and has the responsibility to execute specific projects through to completion to meet stated objectives. Position requires travel to events and trade shows, business development meetings and industry meetings and conferences Hands-on implementation is required, Works with other team members to plan and implement the logistics of trade shows, conferences and business development meetings - such as logistics, run of show book with details and budgets, post show report with action steps and outcomes. Participates with the assigned team to set up, maintain and break down exhibits, including the delivery of all collateral needs. Business Development responsibilities include working with the Marketing Team Leader and other marketing team members, including NPB staff, agency team members and culinary consultants to develop new strategic alliances with retail, manufacturer, foodservice and commodity partners, including researching and identifying potentials events and partners. Develops power point presentations. Shares in the maintenance of the marketing online contact management database. Supports the NPB Marketing and Communication teams to deliver a best-of-class web site. Responsibilities include helping to keep the site optimized, relevant, fresh and updated as it relates to marketing and promotion programs, and working with staff and the virtual team to cross-promote activity and increase site traffic.
