POSITION PROFILE

We are seeking a talented Marketing Copywriter to work full-time in our Scottsdale headquarters. Working closely with in-house marketing and creative staffs, the Marketing Writer will craft, edit and proof copy for various types of client materials including promotional emails and service announcement letters, brochures, print and banner ads, website copy and direct mail copy.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Write compelling copy for a variety of marketing and communications vehicles including promotional emails, brochure copy, print and banner ads, website content, sales copy, and direct mail pieces. Translate complex material into clear, concise and reader-friendly copy while balancing audience needs and business objectives. Work with creative team to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with and complement visual tone, style and messaging. Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control on all copy, including obtaining approvals, fact-checking and editing/proofreading. Work with product development and marketing personnel to capture accurate source and product information. Help ensure that all marketing communications maintain a high level of quality and support and reinforce the Identity Theft 911 brand.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or related field. 2+ years of experience as a copywriter; experience with direct marketing and interactive media preferred. Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles and communicate complex subject matter in a concise fashion. Outstanding communication, time-management, and editing/proofreading skills. Keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced, driven marketing team. Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet daily deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applications commonly used in business environments. HTML knowledge a plus.
