Marketing Production Specialist

Dynamic Video Game Publisher is in search of a Marketing Production Specialist to join their group ASAP. This is a contract to hire position.

The ideal person for this position is someone who is HYPER-organized and very detail oriented and time-line driven. Lack of significant organizational skills will impact the entire media group of the company.

Video game assets, generated out of current games in production, are used in a variety of ways to market the games in question. These assets are then used across several departments and the way they are being used needs to be tracked and managed well. They currently use an internal software program developed in Excel to plan what will go out when to whom. Timing is critical and process is a key element of the job.

This person should be comfortable with a variety of digital formats and their capabilities/ potential challenges.

Some assertiveness will be needed to manage timelines. This person will need to go to different departments and ensure that timelines are being met through strong, structured conversations.

This person will also be able to work with many creative minds and go to PR and promotional events for the company from time to time. A positive people-friendly demeanor a must.

Previous experience in the Video Game industry ideal. Five years in a marketing coordinator or production role in a marketing communications or creative services department also ideal. Less experience in Marketing and some experience in high-end event coordination also considered. Bachelor's degree preferred.
