Marketing Program Manager

Job Summary:



 

This critical position on the Marketing Communications team will develop a comprehensive lead generation program to build awareness, create demand, and identify high quality prospects for the direct sales and distribution channels in the Americas.

 

Essential Functions:



 

·  Works with Director of Marcom and Americas sales management to determine the target market segments and appropriate programs to meet the revenue objectives of the Americas direct sales and distribution channels.



 

·  Manages inside and outside resources to develop and execute integrated marketing programs that incorporate a range of lead generation strategies, telemarketing, email marketing, webcasts, search engine marketing, and web promotion.

 

·  Tracks, analyzes, and reports the results of all lead generation activities utilizing the Cognex lead management system. 



 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



 

·  Minimum 5 years experience as a Marketing Communications Manager, capable of developing strategy as well as performing hands on execution of marketing programs, preferably for a company selling industrial automation products

·  Experience utilizing online and traditional media as lead generation vehicles

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

·  Experience using CRM systems and understanding segmentation, data analysis, and database management required



 

Minimum education and work experience required:

· Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis on marketing or communications  2-3 years management experience
