Mechanics (Heavy Equipment and Diesel) to join our Oxnard and Ventura

Team.

Essential Job Function:

•Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic, hydraulics, and other

repairs on diesel engines, caterpillars, and other heavy equipment.

•Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine,

safety, and combustion control standards.

•Perform repairs on heavy equipment such as dozer, scraper, compactor

and all equipment on site.

•Perform diagnostic and troubleshoot all major components.

•Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and/or painting.

•Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.

•Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions;

troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive

maintenance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

•1-2 years maintenance experience in preventive maintenance and heavy

equipment maintenance or 3 years related experience and/or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Welding experience is a plus.

•Valid driver license and clean record.

•Must be familiar with OSHA safety requirements.

•Job requires a high school education or equivalent, including the

ability to read and understand a variety of job related instructions

and documents, perform a variety of mathematical calculations, and use

many types of equipment.

•Ability to read and write in English.
