Pri-Med is looking for a Medical Director to join our team. The Medical Director will provide key medical, scientific and clinical expertise to support the company’s business development, strategic planning, proposals and grants.  S/he will collaborate to conceptualize customized, multi-channeled, innovative initiatives to support educational marketing and sales proposals and grants.  The Medical Director will provide medical direction for proposals and grants and assure that all projects are technically accurate and meet program objectives. The selected candidate will identify, build rapport and contact key opinion and thought leaders in clinical and medical areas relevant to company activities. The Medical Director will participate in presentations to commercial supporters, medical associations and other organizations.  

 

The role requires an MD, PharmD, or PhD with four to seven years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical communications/education industry in the area of medical education or medical affairs.  Extensive knowledge over broad ranges of clinical medicine, therapeutic and practice topics a must.  Qualified candidates will have a thorough understanding of overall drug development, drug pre-marketing and marketing processes, and a familiarity with the guidelines, standards and regulations relative to medical education and marketing communications.  Experience developing strong relationships with key opinion and thought leaders required.  Travel is required.
