Merchandise Manager - International
Merchandise Manager - International Lands End is a leading direct merchant of traditionally styled, classic casual wear and products for the home. We are currently searching for a Merchandising Manager in our International division. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The Merchandise Manager of International is responsible for driving the development and implementation of all international merchandising strategies for the German, UK, Japan businesses and for the general management of the Pan International business. This position, which reports into the Sr. Merchandise Manager, requires a broad range of merchandising and leadership skills including entrepreneurial, financial, analytical, strategic, tactical, communication, self management, negotiation, collaborative, and product development skills.QualificationsSuccessful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:1.Represent and champion the interests of the international businesses throughout the Lands' End organization with a focus on communicating with Merchandising, Inventory, Design, Sourcing, Quality and Creative. 2.Ensure that the core teams are providing International with key item product and positioning that will drive growth by exploiting all major item sale opportunities that are within the scope of the brand. 3. Drive the process by which the International and US Merchandising organization understand each of the international market profiles including market sizes, price points, competitors, and customer expectations. 4.Driving the development of the line plan for each market. 5.Driving the development of a business plan. 6.Driving direct marketing and service strategies for Pan International 7.Coach, engage, inspire, challenging, and driving the skill growth 8.Partnering with the International leaders to create and drive corporate strategic goals.
