Negotiate profit opportunities and coordinate promotional programs with vendors and communicate with customers.  Job Responsibilities:Negotiate gross profit buying opportunities with vendor while maximizing bill out inventory profit Negotiate and execute promotional merchandising programs with vendor Setup and Maintain item and vendor data integrity (pricing/item accuracy/item changes/item assortment/category marketing info/lost margin resolution) Assist vendors and buyers with dead and excess inventory resolution Interface with outside C&S departments as well as retail customers for resolutions and Vendor relations Study and anticipation of commodity changes to maximize revenues Verify accuracy of pricing and reconcile any discrepancies Create pallet programs and bulk ''block'' buys -Communicate promotional programs to the customers Maintain alternate sourcing program profitsJob Requirements:Bachelors Degree or equivalent required. 2+ year merchandising experience, preferably in Finance or Procurement.
