Metrology Technician

The technician will be required to perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs to instrument systems and components of laboratory equipment, production equipment, cental utilities and building management systems. Trouble shoot problems in the event of instrument failure and be able to recommend parts needed for the effective repair. Technician will assist as needed in performing all duties as assigned.to of such. Additional Job Functions: „X Use basic hand tools „X Utilize precision measuring instruments„X Read electronic schematics„X Must be able to read, write and utilize drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas. „X Read mechanical schematics and piping diagrams „X Must be able to work in a clean room environment.„X Overtime as requiredResponsible for calibration and repair of equipment and instruments to meet GMP requirements throughout facility. Maintains calibration documentation in compliance with manufacturing operation needs as well as regulatory and corporate requirements. Makes periodic or special inspections of instrument systems to determine repair work necessary and to confirm system and equipment operation is within specified parameters.
