Mobile Applications Software Engineer

Job Description:For this position, you will test mobile client/server applications for this leading software company.Your responsibilities will include: Identifying general and corner test cases Analyzing and debugging defects Providing developers with thorough defect analyses Creating client markup language test casesJob Experience: 3+ years related work experience Experience working with software in a UNIX environment Experience working with Java and Java IDEs in a Windows environment Experience with web servers, HTTP, XML/HTML, Eclipse/Netbeans, and CVS Experience testing client/server applications Experience working in a fast paced development process Demonstrated sound test methodologies and software design concepts Ability to read and understand requirements in order to create test plans and specifications Solid problem solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelors degree in a related field Proficiency writing shell scripts is preferred Experience handling scripting languages is preferred (Perl, MOD_Perl, JavaScript) Experience developing tests for APIs, software/systems interfaces, and Java applications is preferred Experience programming in a UNIX environment is a plus Experience performing UNIX administration is a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: 3-5 Years For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom Excell Data visit www.excell.com.
