Mortgage Production Manager

Job Description:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred. • 5+ years mortgage lending, real estate sales, retail sales or related experience preferred, including 2+ years in a management position related to mortgage lending. • Knowledgeable of all aspects of mortgage lending including non-conforming and secondary market lending as well as applicable laws. • Possess and be skilled in training effective sales techniques. • Good platform presentation skills with strong business acumen. • Effective leadership, management, coaching and training skills. • Effective problem solving and program management skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Good organizational skills. • Skilled in applicable computer software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Oversee all departments within the mortgage company related to production within assigned area. • Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained in all departments related to production within assigned area. • Develop and coordinate sales activity plans, and/or conduct training with banks to ensure goals are being met. • Responsible for the employee training on applicable computer programs. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations and investor requirements. • Ensure all current loan documents are in compliance with applicable law. • Monitor reports on all areas of responsibility to assure timeliness of production. • Actively recruit quality Mortgage Loan Originators. • Monitor sales and marketing calls, including the review of their business plan. • Monitor marketing budget as assigned for region. • Manage the accomplishment of production goals. • Interface with all related corporate departments to coordinate product development/pricing, servicing issues, training, technical and their implementation. • Resolve problems or conflicts arising from any areas of responsibility from production to personnel issues. • Develop and control budgets for assigned area.
