Software Developer

The Interactive Application Developer takes approved comps and architectural documentation to develop working prototypes and functional applications for the Advanced Interaction Group. Required skills include FlashCS, ActionScript 2 and 3, working with dynamic data, experience with a multitude of code libraries and classes as well as a good understanding for relational mathematics. Additional skills like Java and/or Proce55ing, Silverlight, AIR, Flex, experience with creating Flash-based components/libraries are a plus!

A multi-disciplined and experienced team of innovators with an inventive spirit, AIG provides a nimble and effective channel for both conceptual exploration and practical implementation of next generation creative technology.Key Responsibilities Concept and execute development for various Flash experiences that is consistent with our client’s marketing strategy.Work closely with the Creative and Tech groups to concept and develop Flash projects including but not limited to Web sites, Functioning Prototypes and stand-alone rich media applications.Work with motion designers to integrate Flash animation, loaders, and other elements Contribute to the development process from beginning to end of site design Create technical strategies and architecture plans to implement during development phase.Reports to Director, Advanced Interaction Group

 

Required Skills and Experience:


 Proficient in AS2 and AS3 development frameworksOOP programming Excellent optimization skills.Excellent communication and presentation skillsMust work well in a team-oriented, collaborative and production environmentDetail oriented, organized and rigorous about quality controlProgram expertise in Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, and QuicktimeAbility to handle a high volume environment with rapid turnaround times and manage multiple tasks and project details Good time management skills and solid work ethicMust be a quick thinker, able to develop concepts and carry out solutions on a tight schedule
