Sales/Retail/Business Development Company: Systems Services of America Reference Code: SSAaccountmanager NATIONAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER Job Function: A National Accounts Manager is responsible for the over-all performance of the National Accounts Executive and National Account Specialists assigned to them. This position is a multi tasking position, overseeing account contracts and relationships as well as managing up to 6-8 associates at any given time. Additionally, this role has the responsibility of ensuring that all SSA/ customer contracts are maintained 100% in accordance to the Key Performance Indicators established for the account. The National Accounts Manager is to constantly look for ways to improve efficiencies within the Company, and more importantly to enhance account relations and company profitability. The National Accounts Manager is to foster a team synergy within the SSA Sales and Account Management and all other SSA departments and distribution centers. Requirements and Experience: The candidate should have Strong National Account experience with proven success in Foodservice distribution Sales and/ or account management Develop an understanding of all KPI’s on each contract that you are responsible for. Work with your team (NAE and NAS) to ensure that all KPI’s are 100% contractual. Develop a strong working relationship with all key contacts with your accounts as well as your team and others within SSA. Prepare and schedule business reviews with key customer contacts. Have a complete understanding of Contract management, pricing and procedural compliance. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in related sales and or foodservice background. Ability to understand and interpret RFP’s and contracts. (distribution agreement) Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to travel ranges from 25% to 50% dependent on business requirements. Applicants must have successful work performance, demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, have strong skills using MS Office software products, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment, and display initiative and innovation on the job.
