The National Account Manager is reponsible for developing new business while servicing existing strategic relationships between Unisource and our key business customers. As well as identifying or developing resources within our corporation to meet the strategic needs of those customers and to develop business solutions that will not only ensure stability in these business relationships, but assure profitable growth for our corporation. Unlike a traditional sales model, a project management approach both within our company as well as with these strategic customers is required.
Job Responsibilities:Plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products Develops business plan for each account Coordinates use of other company resources (e.g. technical, advertising) to provide value added services to accounts Develops strong client relationships over time that provide significant input to planning company product, price, and service strategies Provides analysis and information on sales forecast and budget preparation Direct National Account Executives in their account activitiesTrain product managers on how to maintain optimum inventory levelsAnalyze historical data to determine long-term direction for assigned product lines in the assigned region/branchesDevelop marketing plans and strategies for new product lines for the region.Negotiate most competitive prices and terms available and keep branches appraised of such programs.Develop sales and marketing strategies as are appropriate for the diverse range of products and customers.
Required Skills
