Job description: DESCRIPTION
This position reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's business applications. Designs and writes codes to support existing applications. Requires a bachelors degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Reports to a project manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Design and develop web-based applications utilizing MS.NET technologies
** Support existing windows client-server applications developed in house
** Migrate existing windows based C++ client-server applications to .NET application
** Perform research on various technologies and provide technical system reviews
** Assist in defining and creating all project documentation
** Assist in the preparation of project timelines
** Must be able to work independently with little supervision

JOB REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
The candidate must be deeply experience in complex application architecture design on the Microsoft platform. The candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge in Microsoft .NET technology, and provide assistance in analysis, design development, and support for in-house developed applications. This candidate must work well in a team environment while working with people at all levels within the MIS department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
** 2+ yrs of C++ experience
** 2+ yrs in .NET Web application development
** Web development skills using C#, ASP.NET, XML and XSL, Web Services preferred
** Must be proficient in application development life cycle
** Good verbal & written communication skills
** 1+ yrs of MS SQL database development experience preferred
** Knowledge of MSMQ a plus
** ERP and/or CRM experience a plus
** MCSD or MCAD a definite plus
