OEM/VAR SALES
Job Description:Account Manager/Senior Sales Reports to Director, Global OEM/VAR Business *Note: This position has the option of being located anywhere near a major metropolitan airport. Due to exceptional growth of the Wonderware OEM/VAR business we are looking to recruit a Senior Sales Account Manager to further expand Wonderware North American sales into large, multi-territory OEM and VAR customers. Location is flexible to either Lake Forest, CA or major metro Midwest/East Coast. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Strengthen and maximize relationships with existing large OEM/VAR accounts, whilst identifying major new OEM/VAR opportunities. Identify areas where we can add more value to the OEM customer. Segment the total available market of OEM/VAR potential customers and prioritize actions to grow business accordingly. Produce a stream of predictable revenue through the negotiation of prudent OEM/VAR contracts. Maximize profit to the company, through lower cost of sale. Enable Wonderware to enter specific industries/marketplaces through our OEMs who command a strong positions within these specific industries Achieve sales quota objectives. Work with channel partners to identify potential OEM/VAR opportunities. Develop a business plan that includes objectives and strategies that ensures attainment of assigned sales goals. Develop action plans to penetrate target OEM accounts. Provide quote assistance and follow-up as well as order entry and post order support for assigned accounts. Provide the Director OEM/VAR Business with a weekly activity report. JOB REQUIREMENTS Proven track record in over achievement of quota Proven track record of closing major OEM/VAR sales (multi-year, $500k p.a. agreements). BA or BS degree required (MBA highly preferred). Ability to develop a sales plan to exceed quota. Ability to support existing major OEM/VAR accounts, and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to aggressively pursue the sales of newly developed products through the OEM/VAR sales channel. Ability to demonstrate direct and extensive OEM experience is a MUST. Minimum of 5 years of enterprise software sales experience. Minimum of 3-4+ years experience in Strategic OEM/VAR role. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to present with enthusiasm Team player OTHER CONSIDERATIONS Willing to travel 50-60%. May involve some International travel. Willing to function independently from a home office. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. Experience with Wonderware products/solutions considered a plus. Relocation not provided for this position.
