ORACLE DBA ***GURU*** WANTED!!!

 You will be the sole Oracle DBA responsible for the operation, administration and maintenance of the database infrastructure required to support their high availability environment. The service infrastructure consists of multiple distributed systems running primarily in a mixed Oracle/SQL Server UNIX/Windows environment. It is essential the candidate have a firm grasp of sound deployment methods required to ensure adequate security, availability, redundancy and performance in a 24x7x365 operations environment. The candidate must have experience in maintaining Oracle in a Unix environment, MS-SQL Server in Windows Environment, handling emergency situations, creation of users, roles and database security implementations and have intimate knowledge of backup and recovery and disaster recovery scenarios. Minimum Position Requirements: • 4+ years of database working experience. 2+ years Oracle 9i Database Administration • Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration a plus • Experience on Oracle in Unix platform • Experience on performance tuning and troubleshooting • In-depth knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting • Proficiency on database backup and disaster recovery.
