OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are adding an Outside Sales Representative in the Lewiston to Augusta, ME area.

POSITION SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and representing the entire Pella product line. Job duties include: Heavy face-to-face prospecting for new clients in a cold-calling environment, along with servicing and maintaining any existing clients accounts.

You will price/estimate projects for new and existing customers, and serve as the primary customer contact for Pella's product line. You will establish long lasting relationships to maximize sales/customer contribution.

Compensation package includes base salary plus commission, mileage allowance, laptop, and nextel. We also offer an excellent benefits package.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will be an energetic, effective communicator who is able to excel in an independent and aggressive sales environment. Must have the ability to research and cold-call to develop business. Additional requirements include:

1. College degree and/or 2-4 years of relevant sales experience.

2. Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Internet) with ability to quickly learn new software

3. Outside Sales experience in a competitive, independent and high-volume sales atmosphere.

4. Knowledge of the construction/building industry with the ability to read blueprints and do take-offs preferred.
