Regional Office Manager/Human Resources Assistant

 

 

POSITION TO BE FILLED ON APRIL 14, 2008.

ARAMARK Higher Education is conducting an aggressive search for an Office /Human Resources Assistant to support the regional office staff in Seattle, WA.  

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform confidential and routine administrative functions in support of the Region Staff.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Answer phones and serve as first point of contact for visitors Provide administrative support to Regional Vice President and Regional Directors Maintain Staff calendar, region directory, and vacation schedules Work with internal clients and external vendors to ensure office supplies, technology, and contracts are current and comply with established guidelines Collect weekly location data and produce weekly financial report Data entry of confidential financial and employee information Coordinate logistics of staff meetings, employee training, and special events Manage employee files, HR correspondence and recognition programsAdminister internal job posting process Process pre-employment background screening Manage employee training enrollment and trackingRun monthly queries such as Staffing and Turnover Reports

 

REQUIREMENTSA four year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED Advanced level computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Intranet/Intranet, Flowcharting software REQUIRED 1+ years of HR generalist experience preferred 3-5 years office management experience REQUIRED Demonstrated Expert Level experience with Excel REQUIRED Previous experience in a professional office environment preferred Must be a TEAM PLAYER, be able to multi-task, have  Excellent Time Management skills Availability to start no later than April 14, 2008 REQUIRED
