Responsibilities

NYTimes.com is looking for an Online Ad Trafficker to join its Ad Operations team. The Online Ad Trafficker is responsible for all aspects of ad campaign fulfillment and monitoring delivery. Traffickers at NYTimes.com handle all types of creative campaigns; from basic campaigns to complex sponsorships, campaign flighting, ad testing and implementation. This position is great for someone with trafficking experience who wants to move into a role with wholesale campaign responsibility. - Ensure that all incoming orders are processed according to the specifications determined by the Ad Operations, Sales and Finance Departments. - Learn and follow the specific procedures for campaign implementation using the SOS Contract Management System and ADX Campaign Manager. - Test advertising materials, which includes assuring correct display on common browsers. Work with Rich Media Specialist to test certain non-standard creative. Ensure that any requests for changes are communicated promptly to the advertiser, and work with the Rich Media Specialist on internal changes required. - Edit html, Javascript and Flash code within ads when necessary. - Work with Systems and Customer Service Departments to address technical and customer relations issues that arise with particular campaigns or ad creatives. - With Advertising Assistants and Client Services Associates, monitor campaigns to ensure guarantees are met. Optimize campaigns when necessary. - Collaborate with Sales on campaign management and strategy for select categories. Skills: Bachelors degree plus 2+ years relevant experience. Ability to edit HTML and Javascript code; working knowledge of Flash. Demonstrated knowledge of internet technology. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
