Operations Supervisor

Dynamex, a leading provider of same-day delivery and logistics services in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to join our team. This position will be responsible for the several different roles within the Business Center. Managing driver services, and supporting our dispatch operation are the specific functions this position will perform.

 

Experience/skills required:

 Excellent knowledge of the metropolitan areaProficient in basic computer skillsHighly organized Possess a strong sense of urgencyB.S. degree in related fieldMinimum 2 years supervisory experience

 

Job responsibilities:

 

Driver Services

· Recruiting and hiring independent contractors.

· Developing and delivering orientation programs to new drivers.

· Establishing good open communication with drivers.

Dispatch Support

· This position will be required to fill in for the dispatcher as needed.

· Basic requirements for dispatcher support include excellent knowledge of the city, excellent planning and organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Business Center Manager
