 Overview of Functions:

The Optical Manager drives profitable sales growth.  This must be accomplished through development of a positive and productive retail-selling environment that ensures premier customer service, customer retention, as well as outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction and retention.

 Major Duties and Responsibilities of Manager:

1. Drive profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture of Lifestyle and Needs Satisfaction, as measured by:

· New stores: attainment of plan sales goal/projection

· Existing stores: comp store sales growth/projectionManage payroll cost effectively, in accordance with Company standardsAttain store Secret Shopper results of 90% or higherEnsure exceptional Customer Service as measured by the absence of negative calls to the “President’s number.”

 

2. Train, develop, motivate and retain World Class Associates, as measured by:Sales person production reportSales projection reportsSecret Shopper Reports

 

3. Ensure store is effectively merchandised and presented according to standards as measured by:Execution of planogramExecution of visual appearance inside and outside of store (i.e., signage, marketing materials)Maintenance of overall standards (i.e. cleanliness, housekeeping)Associates exhibit professional presentation (i.e., attire) in accordance with Company standards

 

4. Ensure high quality through accurate measurements, correct pricing, POS entry, and realistic delivery time quote as measured by:Redo/remake report from POS system (Maximum 4%)Absence of negative calls to the “President’s number.”Remake percent as compared to Company average

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 2-3 years as an assistant manager.

Experience:

Prior customer service and retail management experience preferred

 

The Sales Associate is a high energy, fashion oriented individual who delivers exceptional customer service through the eyewear selection process. The CFO Sales Associate uses Lifestyle and Needs Satisfaction techniques to maximize sales and retain customers.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Associates:Immediately greets customers in a warm, sincere mannerDrives profitable store sales by analyzing and responding to the customer’s needs, wants and prescription.Uses Lifestyle and Needs Satisfaction Selling techniquesAssists customers in the selection of frames and optical lensesEmploys cosmetic fashion techniques  Ensures high quality through correct pricing, and realistic delivery time quotesAbility to use POS System Assists third party and union plan members in the selection of eyewear both within the plan parameters and premium selections outside of the planOther duties as assigned by Optical Manager and other Associates

 

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent

 

Experience:

Prior customer service and retail experience preferred
