Outbound Lead Development

Rainmaker Systems is a leading outsource provider of sales and marketing services for companies that want to drive more sales. Position Summary

Develops and solicits new accounts, generates sales leads, and handles customer inquiries. Works with team members in the field including field sales. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Essential Functions

Make prospecting telephone calls for the represented client for the purpose to obtain a pre-sale lead and create product or service exposure Manage assigned territory through maintaining customer relationships, evaluating needs and assessing opportunities for appropriate product sales and services Emphasize features and benefits of represented product/service Meet and exceed quotas and performance metrics Ensure pertinent information is entered in the database Actively participate in assigned sales training, lectures, presentations and meetings

Qualifications

Requires high phone activity Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively over the telephone Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to function in a PC environment Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
