PHP Engineer

Job Description:ITC is seeking a PHP Performance Engineer to join the Operations Engineering team. Responsibilities:. Become the go-to person for key pieces of the Facebook system architecture. Quantify trade-offs in caching / bandwidth / database accesses. Profile relevant PHP code, identify and fix performance issues. Contribute to architecture, design and code reviews. Design and develop PHP code to address site performance issues. Role model data driven analysis, optimization, design and development



Job Experience:Requirements:. Strong PHP development experience. Strong analytical / performance skills . Knowledge of PHP internals, Apache, and system profiling tools. Experience working on websites with very high transaction volumes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams. Ajax, Javascript, CSS experience preferred. Low-level systems development skills preferred. BS or MS degree in Computer Science preferred
