PRINCIPAL SW QA ENGINEER

Job Description:PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER REPORTS TO MANAGER, SYSTEM QUALITY ASSURANCE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Writes test plans, test designs and results reports. • Designs and executes tests in an environment that includes key Wonderware products that are found in a common large or enterprise-level system.• Develops new applications that simulate customer application scenarios found in industry applications • Interprets test results and creates defect reports and tracks them to validation. KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Primary customer is the Wonderware external customer that utilizes our products. Key internal contacts include QA Managers, Development Managers, QA engineers, Software engineers, Project Managers and Technical Support engineers. REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION: • B.S. or M.S. in engineering or computer science • Background in applying industrial automation software systems (4+ years) • Knowledge of ArchestrA technology and Wonderware products ( 2 + years) • Programming experience in VisualBasic.Net, C/C++/C#• Experience with Software QA processes, including test plan development, test case design is a plus. • PLC programming is a plusWONDERWARE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
