Qualifications: - Ability to concentrate on written work for long periods - Expertise in spelling, punctuation, and grammar - Detail-oriented and familiarity with using style manuals - Ability to work with individual teams Responsibilities The proofreader is responsible for proofreading the Marketing departments advertising and marketing materials, including direct mail, The Erickson Tribune newspaper, Erickson websites, and special projects. The proofreader checks and marks up copy for spelling, typographical errors, phone numbers and address accuracy, grammar, style and design elements. This individual works closely with the teams to help ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines related to the high volume of materials produced by the Marketing department.
