Part-Time Merchandiser

Lorillard Tobacco Company has an immediate opening for a PART-TIME MERCHANDISER to service established retail accounts in the Belle Grade, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington, Juniper and West Palm Beach area.  Hours are flexible between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 16-19 hours per week.

 

Candidate must consent to an independent investigation of their background, credit report, references, past employment, education, motor vehicle record, criminal record and drug screening.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for contacting a variety of retail stores to merchandise and promote our quality cigarette products.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking individuals with good organizational and communication skills and the ability to interface with a wide variety of people.  Our preference is for applicants who are already located in the area.

 

Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a high school or equivalent diploma; possess a valid driver’s license issued from the state in which employed; have reliable transportation; provide proof of automobile insurance and be able to lift and move light objects.  Experience in sales or merchandising helpful.

 

COMPENSATION:  The starting salary is $11.31 per hour plus 50.5 cents per mile reimbursement. 

 

The successful candidate will be eligible for one week paid vacation after six months employment.
