Part Time Triage

The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of outdoor power equipment, tools and vehicles involving mechanical, hydraulics, diesel, pneumatic and electrical systems. Services will be performed both in the service center as well as at customer locations. The Technician must be able to diagnose mechanical problems and successfully repair and operate the machinery. This position will also assist in familiarizing and training customers on equipment and vehicles, which will require excellent customer service skills. Basic knowledge of computers will also be required in order to proficiently operate the order management system and part look-up. Additional responsibilities include: Determines parts needs and order parts. Use expertise to provide customers with options on repair/replacement type decisions. Assists in maintaining an accurate schedule and record of maintenance. Provide technical support to parts manager to insure accuracy in parts ordering. Correctly utilizes repair centers in-house and mobile computer system. Remains current with all applicable equipment features and applications. Minimum Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent Previous training through manufacturer training courses a plus Minimum one (1) to three (3) years experience in mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic and electrical repairs Basic computer skills One or more current EETC Certifications or/equivalent mechanical certifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs See Job Description
