Pet Groomer

SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Resort Manager, the Groomer provides pet grooming, bathing, and salon services as requested by the customer.

REQUIRED DUTIES:
Grooms, bathes, rinses, brushes, and dries guests.*Provies customer service in the form of consultations and explanation of services available/rendered with an explanation of costs.*Cleans and maintains the grooming room and equipment.*Identifies external parasites and reports them to the Manager-on-Duty.*

This position requires an abillity to read and comprehend written insturctions, short correspondence, and memos.  Requires an ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.

This position requires the ability to work without constant supervision.  The successful candidate must be able to handle a variety of pets safely and comfortably.

Canine/Feline CPR certificaiton is desirable but not required.  Vocational/Technical certificaiton is also desired but not required.

Candidate must be able to supply their own work tools.

Candidate must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
