Regency-Superior has been in business since 1929 and is one of the foremost auctioneers in the areas of Stamps, Postal History, Space Memorabilia, Autographs, Coins, Currency, Hollywood Memorabilia, and Sports Collectibles. 

You will be trained to appraise and describe Stamps & Postal History while assisting in the other auction duties in the office.

 

Duties include:1)  Stamps lot describing will be your primary focus 2)  Maintaining and organizing auction lots in our St. Louis gallery 3)  Helping with setup & viewing of our auctions 4)  Dealing with consignors and customers5)  Some travel to appraise consignments, and help at trade shows

 

Job Requirements:1)  Passion for Stamp collecting a must! (including familiarity with Scott Catalogs)2)  College Education - Bachelors degree3)  Good basic writing skills important3)  At least 2 years work experience (potential retirees welcome)4)  Ability to lift some heavy boxes (up to 40lb)5)  Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)6)  Ability to deal with the public in person, on the phone and in written correspondence7)  Native level English language skills8)  Strong organizational skills

 

HOURS:  Full time, Monday-Friday  9am-5:30pm (plus some Saturdays in conjunction with auctions)
