We are currently seeking a Pipe Fitter Technician in our Process Support-Family Care department at our New Milford, CT location. Summary: In this role you will work to ensure and maximize equipment performance and results through skill diversity and development. As a member of the team, you will contribute your individual skills and talents to help advance team goals and objectives.Qualifications: Basic: High school or GED required 3 years experience Journeyman level skill – water / drainage plumbing systems Preferred: Some college or trade school 5 years experience Journeyman level skill – water / drainage plumbing systemsOther: Steam: troubleshooting and ability to diagnose pressure reducing valve problems. Understanding steam traps, steam distribution Pneumatic systems, hydraulic system and pump operation understanding Basic computer skills and ability to plan work, identify parts and learn the computerized maintenance system for ordering job materials or writing work orders. Team player, leadership, self motivated, competent in applying trade math, work under limited supervision with good communication skills Plumbing skills which should include water systems, drainage systems Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely, working at various heights, in pits, confined spaces and follow safety practices and regulations.Apply online at and enter Requisition ID#1953 Equal opportunity employer
