Knowledge of OSHA, First Aid and safety. Mature individual who poses excellent problem solving skills and the ability to follow procedures. Computer literate. Job Summary1. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the facility and its machinery.2. Building and Ground maintenance.Primary Responsibilities1. Install facility machinery.2. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.3. Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery.4. Program PLC's5. Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.6. Communicate with operators from other shifts.7. Maintain and secure work tools.8. Clean and maintain work area.9. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.10.Other duties as assigned.Additional Responsibilities1. Perform back-up for warehouse as needed.2. Order tools and machinery inventory parts.3. Safety committeeWorking ConditionsWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 70 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.2. Advanced skills (journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems and PLC programming.3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.4. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.5. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required6.
