Working as a Plumber in the University Student Housing is for those who are licensed as a journeyman plumber, have one year of plumbing experience, are comfortable in diverse settings, who enjoy working with people, and who want to be a part of an exceptional team in a fun environment.

 

In this position, you will perform preventive maintenance on restrooms, water softeners; identify and resolve plumbing problems by repairing or replacing pipes, fittings, valves, plugged drains, faucets, toilet repairs, etc.

 

Other duties include performing preventive maintenance checks on valves, pumps, water heaters, dilution tanks, and other operating equipment.

 

The successful candidate will be required to be on call 6 to 7 times a year and will have to be able respond to any emergencies within 45 minutes.
