DescriptionThe appropriate candidate should be a self motivated software developer with a strong desire to learn distribution and inventory management applications. The position requires an individual with the capability to understand fairly complex, statistical calculations that are used to apply inventory management algorithms. The applications are mission critical, so quality assurance and testing skills are equal in importance to competence in code development. The individual needs to be competent at managing multiple applications as well provide customer service to a centrally located user community.The applications are highly visible and manage a large distribution network. The satisfaction and recognition that is realized by the successful execution of theses applications is extremely rewarding.Required Skills
Powerbuilder 8.0 or higher: minimum 3 years Experience working on large multi-user applications with read/write transaction management Experience with both foreground and background processes Large corporate environment experience is preferable SQL, preferably MS SQL Server: minimum 3 years 4 year college degree required Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering fields are preferable Inventory management, supply chain, or distribution application experience is a strong plus Team player: interaction with development team members and other teams occurs daily and is critical to the success of development activities .Net experience is helpful, but not required VALUES: We achieve our vision by creating and living a culture that embraces our core values: Customer Satisfaction, Passion for Results, Teamwork, Learning & Growing and Integrity.
