We are dedicated to helping employees meet their commitments to customers, and to achieve their personal career ambitions.We are currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principle Engineer _ Electromechanical Hot Controlsto join our organization in Carol Stream.Summary:This position will assist in the design and development of new products and in the sustaining of existing electromechanical cooking control products in the Appliance Business Segment. The position requires a detail orientated person that will coordinate and support Responsibilities:•Design controls for commercial cooking applications such as thermocouple based safety controls, hydraulic actuated thermostats, and solenoid based safety shut off valves. •Support Product Engineers for design of new products and modifications to existing products; in the area of sheet metal and die cast designs.•Participate cross-functionally with sales and marketing to identify new product development opportunities and determine product life cycles.•Will travel 10% of the time providing technical guidance to customers seeking new product development opportunities.•Interface ignition systems to commercial cooking equipment.Education / Experience:•BSME / MSME or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years industry experience.•Background in commercial cooking equipment industry and Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.•Candidate should have experience specifying and designing controls for the appliance industry.•Familiarity with North American, European and Australian Standards for appliances.•Five years design experience in Pro Engineer-Wildfire.•Design experience in AutoCADInvensys Controls is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
