For more information on Alcon, Inc., visit the Company's web site at .General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for implementing projects as outlined in the plans book and related activities to support development of surgical IOL products; functioning as Study Manager for clinical protocols; completing study activities as appropriate; initiating and completing high quality clinical studies and CSRs in a timely manner according to GCPs and departmental SOPs; writing protocols, CSRs, investigator brochures and clinical sections of PMAs and CE Mark Technical Files; providing timely reports on projects; analyzing and interpreting key clinical data for presentation to management; communicating effectively with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators and IRBs; interfacing with key internal support groups; and maintaining and developing scientific/technical knowledge for therapeutic area.Minimum Qualifications: * R.N. certification with a minimum of 12 years clinical research experience including 9 years direct CRA experience* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline with up to 12 years of related experience to include 6 years of direct Clinical Research Associate experience* Master's degree in an appropriate discipline with up to 9 years experience, including 4 years direct Clinical Research Associate experience* Ph.D. with up to 6 years related experience; to include up to 4 years experience as a Clinical Research AssociateOur generous benefits package includes the Alcon 401(k) Plan which matches employee contributions up to 5% of eligible pay at the rate of $1.00 for each dollar contributed, and the Alcon Retirement Plan (ARP), a qualified plan in which Alcon contributes 7% of eligible pay to the accounts of all eligible employees.
