Product Fraud Analyst

Job Description:Our client, a fortune 500 leader in the financial services industry is currently seeking a talented Product Fraud Analyst for its Foster City, CA location. This is a great 5 month contract opportunity. Product AnalystSummary: The Decision Sciences group has overall responsibility for all payment card fraud related data. The group manages the analysis, interpretation and distribution of this information.Responsibilities: This position will be involved in extracting, analyzing and presenting payment card fraud data to both internal and external customers. The position requires the ability to understand the data and translate it into useable information.Specific examples include:. Use quantitative analytics to deliver new insights into drivers of fraud performance. Identify emerging trends in key product segments. Identify specific bank performance trends and quantify any metrics outside of expected norm. Consult with bankcard issuers and internal customers to understand, deliver and satisfy their information needs. Isolate data anomalies and its root causes. Up date and maintain key, corporate metrics used to monitor industry wide performance



Job Experience:Successful candidate will have the following skills:Requirements:. Experience working with large data sets. Ability to turn raw data into useable business information. Understanding of the bankcard payments system. Enjoy problem solving. Attention to detail. Well organized, capable of handling multiple, competing tasks. Customer service focused.
