Product Marketing Manager - Temecula, CA

PlantCML has two exciting opportunities available in Temecula, CA on the Product Line Management team. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for our Integrated Dispatch System and a Product Marketing Manager for our Emergency Notification Systems.  Ideal candidates will have at least eight years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing including responsibilities in developing customer messaging strategies and programs, product market specifications, establishing and maintaining strategic product related schedules and budgets and reporting same to management. The primary objectives of these positions are to enable profit maximization, achieve overall long term customer satisfaction and align with all corporate objectives.  Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Market Intelligence: actively works with Channels, Channel Management, Marketing and Sales to develop and maintain customer segmentation profiles and validation, strategic competitive advantages, key technical differentiators, industry trends and communications strategy. · Market Segment Business Plan: generating, maintaining and communicating plan on a quarterly basis. · Product Marketing Specifications: generating, maintaining and communicating given solutions. The product marketing specifications are intended to provide the requirements as parameters (greater than, less than) to quantify only the absolute requirements. · Product Marketing Plan: for successful product/solution launch and ongoing support. · Customer and Internal Communications: maintains in-depth understanding of technical and business factors by Product Line; works with MarCom and Channel Management to develop, implement, and manage direct marketing campaigns and channel marketing campaigns specific to segments, regions and channels. · Point of contact for continuous management and facilitation of day-to-day decisions for 3rd party integration issues; design specification documents, product prototype and final product release, etc. Only candidates with the following qualifications and skills will be considered: · BA in Marketing, Business Management or Business Administration. · Intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills; specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  · Experience in direct dealings with customers and internal staff. · Highly analytical, strong problem solving and time management skills. · Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the Company. · Ability to work well in cross-functional teams. · Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. · Proven track record of preparing reports and presentations for senior management and customers. · Ability to travel 25% or more of the time. · Ability to work the required hours of the position, as well as productively with frequent interruptions. Candidates with the following qualifications and skills will be given first consideration: · Experience in telephony and telecommunications, CTI and/or CAD. · Knowledge of telephony standards and regulations. · Experience with 911 systems, CAD, Land Mobile Radio, emergency response, networks, and peripheral equipment. Qualified candidates should apply directly on our web site at: www.plantcml.com / Careers / Product Marketing Manager – Temecula, CA.
