Job ID: 13497Position Description:*************NOTE: THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE ON THE WEST COAST*************Responsible for successfully launching new company initiatives, i.e., programs, products, and services. This field based role will involve significant field seller interface with a concentrated focus on specified targets to drive rapid customer adoption that will contribute incremental revenue. • Act as Program expert. Ensure rollout and acceptance of program in designated sales region or targeted group. Lead knowledge transfer process within assigned target area while integrating program into the Sales Management Process.• Rapid adoption to specified targets within specified time frame.• Manage the prospect pipeline from initial customer targeting to deal closure while supporting sales personnel during the sales cycle for high value/impact customers.• Sustain and impact sales growth through problem resolution and barrier removal.• Coordinate necessary resources to drive consistent process improvement.• Support company designed training that will enable knowledge transfer to field sales.• Responsible for working with key cross-functional partners to drive efficiency, and performance of program launches.• Additional responsibilities include analyzing performance, sharing learning’s broadly with the team and organization and refining the plan to incorporate market learning’s upon launch.Position Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 yrs demonstrated successful sales and/or program launch experience.• Is a self-starter with a high level of motivation.• Understands the organizational structure of program suppliers and their relationship to Grainger. Is capable of leveraging these relationships to maximum advantage to both parties. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Computer skills • Possesses effective time management, planning, self starting, and communication skills• Has demonstrated ability to influence and persuade various levels of internal decision makers.
