Program Mgr 2 Job Description:This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Description: Our team is looking for a bright, highly motivated program manager to drive our service management and customer lifecycle strategies. We are looking for a strong PM to own and drive key aspects of both our current and our next generation service to be built on the Office Communications Server and company Online Platforms. The next generation will be a grounds up effort targeted for delivery as part of the Office Wave14 family of products and services focused on Online Conferencing and Events. Your primary responsibility will be to engage in all aspects of the customer lifecycle – including customer communication and consults, migration and upgrade scenarios, trial and eCommerce as well as use your customer passion to work closely with internal partner teams to set the definition of the user experience, define how best to use the technology and set priorities between Partners, Planning and with Dev & Test to ensure we ship the right features with the right level of quality on the right schedule. Construct scorecards for metrics. Engage in change as well as issue management. Qualifications: A strong person capable of building strong inter and cross-group relationships with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in program management. Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on service challenges with instincts for practical service design and a successful track record of delivering against the product roadmap. Strong communication, collaboration, project management and organizational skills are required. Experience with release management or operations experience (Plus) Knowledge of effective user experience strategy and implementing against technical. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field is highly desirable.
