Programmer Analyst - ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server

Our client in Pottstown has an immediate need for a Programmer Analyst for their Pottstown, PA location. The computer programmer/analyst will design, develop, support, and maintain this companies Website and other company applications using VB.Net, SQL, Access, Baan LN ERP and other programs in a Windows environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited too: · Design, development and maintenance of the company’s website, including defining objectives, analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features/functionality. · Writing programs to optimize data extraction and usage from both the website and the Bann LN ERP computer system using VB.Net, Access, Excel, and SQL. · Maintaining and optimizing associated reports Designing, developing, testing and new functionality of programs. · Creating and maintaining databases for all company technical specifications. · Working with IT on databases and programs for all the company departmentsRequired Skills: · Associates Degree in Computer Science of Information Technology or equivalent education/experience 3-4 years· VB.NET and ASP.Net programming experience 3-4 years SQL, ODBC and Access experience · 3-4 years developing in Visual Studio.Net Expert user and programmer of all Microsoft Office programs particularly Access and Excel · 1-2 years experience in website creation and maintenance · Excellent analytical, teamwork and interpersonal skill · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment· Must be an expert in VB.Net and Microsoft OfficeThe following skills are a HUGE plus: Prior experience with the Baan ERP system Experience in Database design and development Hands-on Project Management experience SQL stored procedure development experience XML knowledge SOAP knowledge MS Sharepoint knowledge MS Source Safe knowledge**For immediate consideration, please email a Word version of your current resume to philadelphia@remxit.com and reference "152748-scd" in the subject line. This is a permanent position.
