Sales/Retail/Business Development Job Description Job Description: Job Description:Project Manager Responsibilities:Provide Building Department permit packages and permits to maintain workflow.Manage construction projects from permit packages through final Building Department Inspection.Develop, test and implement processes and infrastructure required to maintain high levels of quality control for installation.Establish metrics to monitor and control installation performance and productivity.Schedule and track percentage of project completion.Assist CEO with hiring, training, motivating and retaining qualified workers.Assist Purchasing and anticipate inventory requirements to ensure that the materials and equipment required to complete projects are ordered without delays and on hand.Oversee warehouse staff to maintain inventory control, installation equipment and stocking the vehicles.Put in place and implement the infrastructure required to achieve installation goals.Maintain strong positive morale among the installation crew and office staff.Maintain and repair tools and equipment to maximize installation efficiency.Manage vehicle fleet to ensure proper administration, coordination and maximize installation efficiency.Work with CEO and sales staff to develop standardized systems, maintain quality control, develop best installation practices and stay current on codes, standards and safety.Detailed Responsibilities and Duties:Prepare site drawings, electrical pre-approved drawings, and permit packages.Get customer approved and signed layout drawings.Contact Building Department for permit requirements and office schedules.Assist sales with any technical information.Analyze project special needs (i.e.: roofing, concrete, etc.) prior to installation.Request quotes from and hire outside subcontractors.Schedule and maintain rough-ins, maintenance and repair work.Maintain and post updated job schedule.Schedule site visits to prepare layout prior to scheduling and installation.Schedule final inspections.Get signed final paperwork from client and collect final payment.Prepare materials lists for jobs at least month in advance.Manage and ensure the preparation of materials daily for crews.Sign out daily the count of modules and inverters taken to the jobs.Manage shop employees and organization to maintain production quotas.Manage tool supply and acquisition in trucks and shop.Manage new installers training, new equipment training and safety training.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.Supervise work crews.Requirements:Must have at least 5 years of project management experience.College degree preferred but not required.Must have strong computer skills and very proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint), SalesForce (CRM).Must be able to work with staff through the design, engineering and final installation of residential and commercialMust be a strong leader, creative, possessing strategic planning skills.Confident personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
