Walgreens promotes and supports a drug-free and smoke-free workplace.Essential Skills:Leads the development of projects and resultant project plans related to a major Walgreens Health Services (WHS) business initiatives through project teams comprised of business unit and IT experts across WHS businesses and consultants/contractors, utilizing Project Management Office (PMO) processes. Presents and reports on project plans and cost benefit analyses to appropriate stakeholders, executives, senior management and the steering committees, where applicable. Analyzes and summarizes project cost information to make recommendations and assist the stakeholders in decision making; Initiates and ensures the implementation of projects within the major strategic program with the involvement of the key selected contributors. Develops and maintains knowledge of all business units of WHS to ensure that pertinent business information is incorporated into the projects of the key strategic business initiative and to be able to determine the impact of the project on WHS; Leads the evaluation, definition and development of project parameters goals and timeframes; Directs, leads, and manages the complexity of the program, integrating, influencing, and maneuvering the projects, the project plans and the project teams; Designs and creates work plans for the projects using WHS PMO standards and tools; Identifies key issues and determines the course of action for resolution on each project and with each project team. Must have previous experience with P&L in dealing with project management. Ability to influence internal stakeholders.
