JOB TITLE: MEDIA PROJECT PLANNR
ESTIMATED ASSIGNMENT PERIOD: 02/14/2008 THRU 12/31/2008
LOCATION: RIDLEY PARK, PA

 

WORK HOURS : 8:00-4:30
Full Time Until Mid July. From July to Dec. ON CALL. 0-40 hours.
JOB DUTIES:
Primary function is proposal planning and project management using defined processes, techniques and tools to scope assigned projects.  May be single point of contact for customers to understand their needs and requirements and to interface with external vendors or suppliers to meet the customer needs and requirements. The planner will ensure project requirements are anticipated and scoped within the overall plan. May direct the activities of others to ensure project completion. Planner interfaces with customers who are typically organizational/cross organizational and enterprise managers and senior or executive level leaders. Organizes and guides complex, regional or cross organizational and Enterprise wide projects such as events, proposals, documentation and creation of print materials, exhibits. Leads others and/or plans, implements and completes significant and complex project plans that support company goals, policies, and business plans; provides schedule tracking; provides support in meeting project milestones; tracks budget, and expenditures and obtains and oversees project resource information per plan. Planner will identify problems and issues and develop solutions to meet project requirements. Leads project team and/or customers meetings. Planner will develop and maintain a customer change control and management process to ensure that any customer changes are tracked and incorporated into the plan per agreement with organizational or Enterprise customers.  Participates and accomplishes assigned tasks as a project team member, attends scheduled meetings and works in cooperation with other team members and project leader. Develops, determines and applies organization's methodology processes and tools (e.g., templates, formats, styles, databases, quality control, corporate branding and identity, export compliance, intellectual property, file naming and archiving), to meet assigned project plan activities. Planner will also interpret customer questions and issues and provide appropriate responses referring to established policies and procedures.

Organize and develop statements of work (e.g., scope of project requirements, schedule, estimate) and provide project plans that support customer requirements.  Communicate with customers, management, production team members and suppliers.  Primary function is project planning.

** Must have Media Project Planning, Graphics Background and Proposal Experience.
** Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
