Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

Part time position available as part of a multidisciplinary team in a mental health outpatient clinic located in Waltham, MA, with a satellite clinic in Arlington MA. Responsibilities include; clinical assessments, treatment planning/documentation, medication prescription and management, patient education and supportive counseling, emergency coverage, and community support services. May administer injections and when necessary will coordinate clinical and administrative functions of Clozapine Clinic.

 

Qualifications: M.S.N. or M.S. in nursing. Certified / eligible by Massachusetts as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry. Qualified to prescribe and manage medications. Experience as a prescribing nurse in an outpatient health setting.
