Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager

 

With over 25 years experience as a leading candy distributor with warehouses located nationally, we are currently seeking an experienced individual for the role of Purchasing and Inventory Control Manger to work in our Long Island headquarters.

 

This individual’s responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, maintaining vendor

    relationships;

- Issuing purchase orders and delivery dates to meet schedules;

- Review weekly inventory trends;

- Ensuring optimum inventory levels at all warehouses.

- Coordinating with Sales & Operations

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communications skills

- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
