QA Analyst II - 2nd Shift

Alcon's U.S. General Office is based at its 300-acre campus located in Fort Worth, Texas.General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing chemical, biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, or stability samples in support of the company's quality program; interpreting and evaluating the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision and recommending corrective action where necessary; applying existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modification for improved efficiency, or devising and developing new analytical methods and techniques; and performing qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering and one year applicable experience in the pharmaceutical field or related industry. Demonstrated excellent written/verbal/interpersonal/ communication and ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
