This will include supervision of Project Lead Testers. This manager will be responsible for insuring quality testing deliverables for System and Integration Testing and oversight and coordination with User Acceptance Testing. The Test Manager will be providing status directly to the director. The test manager will be expected to follow CMMI defined processes in completing all testing documentation.QA manager must have a strong background in software engineering, testing, and automation to drive the overall planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of projects within the organization. To expand, the selected resource must possess: knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of test automation tools, experience with large scale enterprise product, experience with relational databases, and management background. In addition, the QA manager should have experience coding and/or testing in the denoted technologies. As part of this team, the incumbent will provide System Administration and Technical Support for the HP Quality Center test suite including: . User account and Quality Center Project Entity administration . Quality Center End user assistance . Setup and configuration of the overall Quality Center technical and operating environment in a Windows Server and SQL Server environment. Working with Quality Center users to implement new processes . Setup and configuration of Quality Center projects . Accountable for resolution of issues within Quality Center . Developing, implementing, and executing a Quality Center backup and recovery strategy Prefer certification with Quality Center or prior experience as architect or product specialist experienced in installation, set up, and configuration of Quality Center.KEY ITEM: The Quality Center support team provides service on a 12 x 7 basis. The incumbent must be willing to be on call and respond to system issues during off hoursSpecific MANDATORY requirements are: - Technical Experience: . Configuring Quality Center User Groups, Project Entities, Project Lists . Providing technical assistance to users of Quality Center . Windows Server 2003 configuration, implementation, and administration . SQL Server configuration, implementation, and administration . Monitoring and administering COTS product multi-user licenses . Developing, documenting, and communicating Standard Operating Procedures . Integrating Quality Center with external sources such as Excel, Requisite Pro, Word, MKS Source Integrity, etc. - Tools Experience/Applicable Knowledge: . HP Quality Center Administration . Windows Server 2003 System Administration . Microsoft SQL Server 2005 System Administration (basic knowledge of SQL a plus) .
